PAPTAC will host the 2017 International Chemical Recovery Conference (ICRC) from May 24-26 in Eastern Canada’s beautiful seacoast destination – Halifax (Nova Scotia) at the Lord Nelson Hotel & Suites. ICRC is held every three years and is the preeminent conference in the area of chemical recovery technology.

The 2017 conference theme will be “Pulp mills and biorefineries, a world of growth in chemical recovery cycle.” The conference will focus on improving thermal and process efficiency, maximizing steam and power generation from black liquor and biomass, controlling fouling, evaluating new technologies, and showcasing successful solutions.

The papers presented and the attendees come from all major pulp producing countries, so this will be a great opportunity to learn what is happening around the world in this field.
